QA Managers at Guidehouse are given a unique opportunity to develop their skills in a variety of areas while working in a collaborative team environment that brings together individuals from different disciplines to provide our clients with innovative solutions to their most pressing problems. This particular role may also lead to an offer of employment at our key client, should the candidate demonstrate commensurate ability and consistently deliver high-quality work product. Our QA Managers perform a wide range of functions including but not limited to:
Analytics and Problem Solving – Guidehouse’s Managers perform critical, value-add work that can directly impact a client’s bottom line. Responsibilities may include analyzing transaction data for patterns and anomalies using general reasoning and logic; conducting detailed research, fact finding, and analysis; developing a narrative from research findings and identification of transaction patterns and anomalies; and assisting with research and data gathering activities.
Customer Due Diligence – Guidehouse team members will be tasked with assessing the appropriateness and comprehensiveness of a client’s customer due diligence (CDD) documents, policies, procedures, and processes for obtaining customer information. QA Analysts will sample and assess a number of completed KYC/CDD cases each month to evaluate adherence to the client’s policies and procedures. The QA Manager will manage a team of QA Analysts, consolidate and analyze QA results, provide feedback to the KYC analysts, and serve as a subject-matter expert.
Supervisory Skills and Project Management – Our employees execute and deliver high quality engagement tasks both independently and in a collaborative setting with a focus on client satisfaction. Our QA Managers play a lead role in supporting key client projects, managing teams effectively, providing daily feedback to their analysts, and coordinating with other teams to ensure milestones are completed in an effective and efficient manner.
Industry Knowledge and Development – As a QA Manager, you can expect to expand your industry knowledge, contribute to the development of consulting capabilities, and effectively articulate our key business propositions to clients.
The successful candidate will have:
5+ years’ experience in a Compliance role; with 2+ years in a leadership role or with demonstrable leadership experience.
An undergraduate degree with an overall GPA of 3.0 or better. Candidates from all disciplines, including the Humanities, are encouraged to apply.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; writing skills are particularly important for this role.
Stellar analytical and research skills.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Project, Access, and Visio is a plus, but not required.
Creative problem-solving ability and a collaborative mindset.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
The ability to quickly learn new skills and subject matter.
The ability to apply newly acquired skills using logic and reasoning to sets of transaction data.
The ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize tasks.
A highly motivated, driven, and dynamic attitude towards work and career.
The ability to excel within a team environment and independently.
A demonstrable willingness to work more than 40 hours when needed.
