We are currently working with a reputable and well known client based in Sheffield, who specialise in the manufacture of components for a variety of industrial sectors. This family run business are known for investing in their staff, to encourage knowledge, learning and self-development. This is a role with huge potential for progression. The successful candidate must be willing to work days and afternoons on a rotating shift pattern –  Days:
Monday – Friday 06.00am – 14.00pmAfters:
Monday – Thursday 13.50pm – 22.20pm and early finish on  Friday 13.50pm – 19.50pm Salary:
Up to £10.50ph depending on experience

The Role:

Our client are looking for a conscientious Quality Compliance Officer to undertake inspections at their Sheffield site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing measurements & testing on their components at various stages of the production process, to ensure that customer specifications are met and fall in line with the international quality standards IATF 16949 & ISO
9001.

You willreceive training some of which will be accredited and will lead to competitive salary increases. This is the ideal role for an individual looking to progress into a senior quality position.

Responsibilities:

Undertake inspections according to their criteria and control plans

Document inspection results

Identify, disposition and document all suspect or defective products

Return products for rework; confirm rework and product quality

Operation of precise instruments for measuring

Ensure company procedures are followed  Essential Skills & Abilities:

Experience within manufacturing sector

Good understanding of quality tools, methods and standards

Experience in using measuring and testing equipment such as Micrometres, Verniers, Gauges and Shadowgraphs

Experience in fault finding in both materials and manufaturing

Excellent communication

Excellent attention to detail

Ability topromote the quality culture within the business

Ability toadhere to company procedures during production phases

Assist and educate the production team on quality control issues

Work with team members to improve quality on a continual basis
